Who says girls can’t play with cars? When my daughter was growing up, she wasn’t too interested in dolls. What a shame! When I was younger, I was very much into Barbie. I assumed my daughter would be into it too. So I bought Barbie dolls and clothes on sale whenever there was a chance. Here’s the problem — she didn’t really fancy dolls in general. She was more interested in other toys.
Since my own kids are now teenagers, I turned to my 5-year old niece Demi to help me review the VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station (P3,499.75). This toy is recommended for kids 1-5 years old.
Demi was only too happy to help me out. We unboxed the toy right away.
The VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station requires assembly. There were so many components Demi got overwhelmed. We called in her sisters Dani and Donna for backup lol! It’s rather challenging, so I don’t think 1-5 year old kids can do it on their own. Adult supervision / assistance is definitely needed. The instruction manual is black and white some parts were not easy to identify. In the end, we used the finished product on the box cover as our guide.
Finally after 30 minutes, we were able to assemble the VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station successfully!
The VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station is an interactive track set. It comes with a light-up wheeled rocket ship which kids can maneuver up and down the ramp. There’s a button on the rocket ship which plays songs when pressed.
There’s even a launch pad kids can use to “lift off”.
There are knobs to turn, levers to pull, and wheels to spin. For smaller kids, this toy can help strengthen motor skills. It also teaches cause and effect. True to the VTech tradition of electronically-enhanced interactive learning, there are 5 Smartpoint locations on the tracks. When the Smartpoint rocket ship zooms past them, kids will hear music, fun phrases, and more.
My nieces really enjoyed playing with the VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station. 8-year old Dani enjoyed helping me assemble it while 5-year olds Demi and Donna literally had a blast with it. The toy is ergonomic and child safe. It’s all smooth surfaces and round corners. There are no small parts for younger kids to swallow too. Demi asked me if they can keep the toy forever, of course I said yes, haha!
The VTech Go Go Smart Wheels Blast Off Space Station is available at leading department stores and toy stores like Toys R Us and Toy Kingdom.

Sorry wala akong video, pero yes nagtuturo ito ng kasi yun car nagsasalita, pero more for motor skills and coordination rather than talking and the alphabet. 🙂
wow galing naman. usually ganyan age dami na collections ng iba iba dolls. i find it cute and pwde din yan for little girls:)
