I bought my first pair of Vivaia footwear last October. I got the Vivaia Everly Boots. It was the first time I chose to be fashionable during travel as I always opt for comfort by wearing the most cushy sneakers I have. Anyway, I’ve been seeing ads of the Vivaia Urban Sneaker Sliders all over my social media feed so I finally caved and ordered a pair. It was easier this time — I just got the same size I got for the boots which is EU 39. I suggest using their size chart on the website to determine your size. It’s pretty accurate. That was what I did for my first purchase. I wore the socks I planned to wear with the boots, traced my bigger foot (right foot for me), and measured against their chart.
I’ve always wanted a pair of sneakers that didn’t have athletic-looking stripes and colorways. Thus I was attracted to the Vivaia Urban Sneaker Sliders. It promised to be comfortable, lightweight, and wearable just by sliding your feet in. The ad said you only need to tie the laces once and then you can just slip in and out of them the rest of the time. It’s important to note that there are TWO (2) types of Vivaia Urban Sneaker Sliders — Mesh and Wool. Mesh is more airy and is recommended for hotter climates while it’s suggested that you opt for wool if you live somewhere cold. I’m in the Philippines so it’s like summer all year long so of course I opted for Mesh. Mesh is slightly cheaper than wool too.
And this is how it looks with my tattered hem jeans. Their claim of sliding your feet in and out of these to wear them is true. It’s also extremely lightweight, kinda like wearing nothing. I immediately subjected my pair to 5,000 steps at the mall straight out of the box. It was good — definitely as light and comfy as all the ads have claimed. These would be great for daily use.
I like the plain black color with no designs. These are actually available in over a dozen colors, I just picked black for versatility. I also think this color would be more low maintenace.
I think they look good! I’m pretty happy with this purchase. They are definitely more comfortable than the Everly boots which tend to chafe against my shins if I don’t wear the correct socks. The Vivaia Urban Sneakers retail for ₱7,339 but I used my own voucher code and got a whopping 15% off so I ended up paying only ₱6,361. It took a week after I ordered for the sneakers to arrive.
Anyhow, if you would like to order Vivaia footwear, I have a 15% discount code which I can share HERE. The code is embedded in the link so if you click on the link and order, the discount will be applied. If you would like to manually key in the 15% discount code on their website, this is it –> kocy17273995349191. The great thing about my discount code is it works ON TOP OF sale prices!
I highly recommend the Vivaia Everly Boots. My sister said they’re more expensive than her Cole Haan’s but hey these are much lighter and more cushy. Pro-Tip: Wear socks that are longer than the boots so they do not cause chafing.
