As a blogger who dabbles a lot in makeup and skincare, selfies are a normal part of my blog and social media posts. It has always been a frustration of mine when flagship phones are equipped with all the bells and whistles but are severely lacking in the front camera department. In this age of blogs, vlogs, selfies, and wefies, I’d say the front cam is just as important as the rear cam. But I guess some brands have yet to realize that.
Then smartphones like the ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite come out to prove that it’s possible to have equally kickass rear and front cams. I got a unit to unbox and test drive and I must say I’m excited!
I’m really loving the minimalistic packaging. The crisp white box with foil embossing gives this phone a premium look and feel.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite comes in 4 cool colors: Mint Green, Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink, and Deepsea Black. I got Sunlight Gold.
Included in the box are an ASUS ZenEar with Microphone, a micro USB cable, a USB power adapter, an ejector pin, and a clear protective phone case. The phone also had 50% charge when I unboxed it so it’s ready to go straight from the box.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite is super lightweight at 144 grams or 5.08 ounces, making it perfect for travel. I’ll be taking this with me on my upcoming Hong Kong trip this weekend so I can really put it to a test. I also love that it’s dual sim so I can easily put in an HK sim for my travel data needs.
Aside from the whopping 13MP front cam, what sets this phone apart from other selfie phones is the ASUS SelfieMaster technology for smart beautification in selfies, videos, and livestreams.
The ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite is currently available at the Lazada Exclusive Sale for P7,695, marked down from the original SRP of P8,995. Check out my full review HERE.

Wow this is such a cool post. While I am greatly considering the Huawei P20 Pro, I will be glad to check this out too. Yeah some brands forget to amp their phone with a good camera. Tsk tsk
