Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lipstick

I was invited to Shu Uemura’s Kiss and Play Date for the Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Lip Color last May 16, 2012. It usually takes me a while to post about make-up because I want to be as in-depth as I can. I’ve been a Shu Uemura user for the last several years so this line isn’t really new to me… BUT I was very happy to know that these luxurious lipsticks have been revamped.

I went up to the display stand where all the lipsticks were being showcased. There were so many gorgeous colors it was so hard to choose which ones to try.

I picked a light blue and a white lipstick. I was told that these are primarily for mixing as they can lighten and change the tone of your existing color for greater customization.

The topmost swatch is from the blue lipstick, the middle swatch is from the white lipstick, and the bottom swatch is from a lilac shade I fished out of the line-up, specifically Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine PK 052 (Lilac). The more shimmery shades fall under the Supreme Shine classification.

You can guess what I chose. Haha, yup, I got the Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine PK 052 (Lilac) which I kept swatching throughout the event. XD

Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine PK 052 (Lilac) is a light and shimmery light pinkish purple shade. It looks cool as ice and I love it so much.

Some weeks later, I bought a second shade — Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited RD 160 (Medium True Classic Red). The only other time I bought a red lipstick was for my make-up course at HD Studio because it was required, haha!
