Here’s another holiday treat… this time, it’s from RACKS! Time to meet RACKS Honey Dijon Babys. It’s RACKS’ classic pork rib smothered with honey and dijon mustard. Hubby, the kids, and I had it for dinner last Sunday at RACKS Timog.
First order of business was to order House Salad (P395 for Family Size). We love this because it complements their meats perfectly. Mixed greens are tossed with apple slices, julienned carrots, and glazed pili nuts then drizzled with a lovely raspberry vinaigrette.
Since there were 4 of us, we decided to order the Honey Dijon Pork Rib Platter (P2,275). It was perfect. Each of us got a hefty serving of meat, steamed rice, and our choice of 3 side dishes along with a pitcher of brewed iced lemon tea. It comes out to around P568+ per person. The menu pegs this set as good for 5 people but if you have ravenous teenagers like we do, it’s 4 people.
The Honey Dijon Pork Ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and grilled to perfection.
There are over a dozen choices for side dishes but in the end we opted for Gravy Fries, Mac & Cheese, and Baked Beans. I prefer dipping my fries in RACKS Original Barbecue Sauce though.
The iced tea was surprisingly good — brewed and blended with lemon and honey. It’s not the usual powder type beverage.
RACKS’ Honey Dijon Babys are available as a platter (like we ordered) and ala carte. Prices are P595 for Half Slab and P995 for Full Slab. I highly recommend ordering the Honey Dijon Pork Rib Platter though since it’s more economical if you’re dining as a group. You only have until January 8, 2019 to try this seasonal offering at all RACKS branches nationwide.
