A little over a week ago, I got a preview of the newly opened Mighty Quinn’s Barbecue Restaurant in SM Megamall. It’s located on the 3rd level, exactly a floor above Aeropostale.
It’s nice and spacious. Mighty Quinn’s stands where River Island used to be.
You order at the counter cafeteria-style.
They’ll put your choice of meat(s), sides, and drinks on your tray. You pay for your order before proceeding to your table.
I was quite confused when it was my turn to order. All the meats looked so delectable! You have choices under Beef, Chicken, and Pork. These are the Spare Ribs (P495 for 4 ribs).
These are the sides (Small P165 / Medium P325 / Large P645). One order comes with an assortment of veggies but the sides are optional. Shown here are Sweet Potato Casserole and Burnt End Baked Beans.
My gosh you just have to try their Potato Salad and Buttermilk Broccoli Salad!
Anyhow I ended up ordering Brisket (P495 for a single serving). When you order meat, aside from veggies, it comes with either bread or Dirty Rice. I opted for Dirty Rice. Then I just asked for small sampler cups of the sides so I could try a little bit of everything. All the sides are so good I think I still wouldn’t know which one(s) to order when I go back. The Brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavorful. Mighty Quinn’s BBQ sauce is to die for too.
If you want your beef even softer and tastier, opt for the Burnt Ends (P495). Don’t worry, they’re not charred and bitter. Each mouthful is an explosion of flavors.
If you’re up for a challenge, the Brontosaurus Rib (P1,450) is for you.
It’s definitely good for sharing by maybe 3 people!
This is what it looks like when sliced. We poured some sauce over it.
Don’t leave without trying their one and only dessert, Bread Pudding (P195). The soft and moist bread pudding is made with fresh ripe bananas then topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I was so stuffed but I had to make room for it lol. It was worth it!
If you’re looking to take the family out for a fresh new dining experience, do drop by Mighty Quinn’s. I’m sure my teenage boy will like it very much as he is always looking for meat lol. We’ll definitely visit before school starts in January.

Let’s stay connected:
Their single serving is huge! Well, pang-American style kasi but for a Pinoy appetite, I think it can feed 2 average people. My daughter loves Broccoli, I will order that one for her.
Yun! My husband loves grilled and roasted food. Mukang super sarap and juicy ng meat. Will surely visit this place in tje future.
What a feast for the meat lovers! 🙂 I hope their chicken option is just as hefty and tasty as I’m not much of a red meat eater. I would love to go for the pudding though. 🙂 Puddings feel like home.
