We went to Italianni’s for breakfast sometime early last month. Not all Italianni’s branches offer breakfast. As far as I know, only Bonifacio High Street and Greenbelt do.
Anyway, I decided to try the Homemade Corned Beef Brisket with Potato Omelet (P295, pictured above). The corned beef isn’t anything like the canned kind that’s shredded and all which is always too salty. This is a whole strip of really tender and tasty (but not salty) meat perched on top of a thick potato omelette. It comes with an egg fried sunny side up too. Delicious!
I ordered my favorite Italianni’s drink to go with it — Nutty Apple (P140, pictured above). Apples and walnuts are blended together into a refreshing smoothie.
We also tried Italiannis’ Eggs Benedict (P325, pictured above). English muffins are topped with ham, sunny side up eggs, and then smothered with creamy hollandaise sauce. It comes with potato wedges too. One order can easily feed two people. I liked it just as much as I liked the Homemade Corned Beef Brisket. I’m guessing the Corned Beef is less fattening though, lol.
What do you know, Italianni’s breakfast menu includes pancakes! My favorite is definitely Banana & Walnuts (P275, pictured above). A stack of three fluffy buttermilk pancakes is topped with chopped banana, toasted walnuts, and a dollop of whipped butter. It’s drizzled with maple syrup too. It looks good and tastes even better!
I wasn’t expecting to like Chocolate & Orange (P275, pictured above) but I did. Rich chocolate-flavored buttermilk pancakes are topped with mandarin orange wedges and a dollop of whipped butter then drizzled with chocolate syrup. The citrusy taste of the oranges complements the rich chocolate perfectly. I love that the pancakes are not overly sweet.
Have you tried having breakfast at Italianni’s? 😀
