If you have your own self-hosted blog and domain, YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, etc. you can earn a bit of cash on the side by registering at Intellifluence. Intellifluence is a US-based platform which connects influencers with brands and companies which need their services. Services can range from doing blog reviews, social media promotions, putting up backlinks, etc. I registered for Intellifluence during the last week of March and to date I’ve earned over US$200 thanks to them.
Here is my Intellifluence dashboard. I have other opps that are in the works so this is just a general idea of what you could be earning from this platform. Some blogger friends have actually been asking me about its legitimacy. I can tell you straight off that this is the real deal. I have gotten paid already, it takes them an average of 2 weeks to release payment from the time you complete the task.
So here are some of the usual concerns aside from the legitimacy of Intellifluence:
- If I accept paid work, am I selling out? No, not really. You have full control over what tasks you accept and if it’s not a good fit, you’re free to decline the offer. For example, my first assignment had me writing about my blogging journey. All I had to do was incorporate a couple of links into the post. There was no hard-selling or advertising any product or brand. What I wrote was what I wanted to share about my 12 years as a blogger.
- What if I don’t have a self-hosted domain? Well, you won’t qualify for the blogging tasks which usually pay US$50 to US$100 a pop. Most foreign entities do not consider blogspot a legitimate platform, so not having your own domain actually limits your monetization options.
- Are all tasks paid in cash? No, some are ex-deals. Company or brand provides products in exchange for a review on your blog, vlog, or social media channels. Again, it’s up to you if you want to accept this arrangement.
