Introducing Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin!

Last September 1, I was introduced to what I believe is one of the best anti-aging serums in the market right now… Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin! Sorry, I’m just really a Shu Uemura fanatic hahaha!

Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin promises porcelain-fine, petal-soft, and translucent glowing skin in 7 days. This October, my birthday month, I will be one year older. That said, I will take this product for a road test and use it for a full month so I can personally see the effect complete with before and after photos. Yup yup, I even have a save-the-date for Oct. 1 when I will begin to use Tsuya.

Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin turns on your skin’s youth power switch so that your skin regenerates quickly the way younger skin does. Shu Uemura has zeroed in on the 6 key elements for ideal skin — smoothness, porelessness, translucence, even tone, fine texture, and even color. Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin at Picasso Boutique Hotel

Anyway, back to the program. I proceeded to Picasso Boutique Hotel in Makati where Shu Uemura reserved a suite just for the occasion.

There were Tsuya Skin bottles all in a row. I tried dropping some serum on my hand and wow, it smells like fresh flowers and it made my hand glow instantly. My hand suddenly had radiant, smooth, and glowing skin. Imagine what this could do to the face! One bottle costs P3,250 and I think that is very reasonable for a high end anti-aging product like this.

There was also a Tsuya Skin make-up demo to better showcase the look of Tsuya Skin. The model for the evening was Cara Manglapus, an up and coming jazz singer.

The demo was done by Shu Uemura accredited make-up artist Sharon Soledad-Malig. She was the one who taught the Shu Uemura YUME Advanced Make-Up Class I attended.

Sharon started by cleaning the model’s face.

Then she applied Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin UV Under Base Youthful Radiance Mousse before proceeding with the make-up. She used really light and natural-looking eyeshadow (neutral shimmery browns), blush (peach), and lipstick (pink). The photo on the right shows our model after the makeover. I love it!

So this is the Shu Uemura Tsuya Skin UV Under Base Youthful Radiance Mousse (P2,250).

It’s flesh-toned. You apply this all over your face and it will serve as both your make-up primer (makes make-up last longer) and sunscreen since it has SPF30 PA+++. Will post a detailed review soon.

Anyhow this is me with all the Tsuya bottles. Haha. I’m wearing one of my favorite tops from Forever 21.
