It’s been a while but tonight I bring you my 28th BB Cream review — Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream (P695). My 27th one, ZA Total Hydration BB Cream UV White, was posted last August and over two months have passed since then.
I tried (quite extensively) another Japanese BB Cream — Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream SPF 50+. I love the anime-themed packaging!
Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream comes in a 30g tube.
I like this kind of tube. You just squeeze out what you need — no wastage and no contamination.
I actually got shade 02, the darker of two shades. But as you can see, it’s anything but dark. It’s a nice bright beige shade with yellow undertones — perfect for Asian skin.
Anyhow, here are my pics before and after application. Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream definitely brightens up your skin and gives you a dewy glow.
Here are my photos right after application and then 9 hours later.
What I like about Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream SPF 50+:
- The shade is perfect for me.
- I like how it instantly brightens up my skin.
- It’s got a high level of sun protection at SPF 50+ PA+++.
- It’s reasonably priced at P595 per tube.
- It’s pretty easy to find as it’s available at Watson’s and SM Department Stores.
- It makes me photogenic. Every time I take a selfie with this BB on it always comes out really nice!
Downside? The finish is so dewy it’s quite shiny so if you have oily skin it won’t take long for your face to shine a lot. It also dries fast so you have to apply it quickly.

But wait, there’s more! There is a solution if you find the BB too dewy looking — Heroine Make Mineral BB Loose Powder SPF 25 PA++.
It’s pretty handy as it’s the size of a compact.
It’s loose powder and it comes with a puff.

I prefer topping off the Heroine Make Mineral BB Cream with this powder because it mattifies the dewy look by a notch. It keeps the oiliness at bay longer for a fresher look. I also like how the powder feels light on the face and doesn’t look powdery. My face still looks nice and luminous. I always use both products in tandem.
Heroine Make Mineral BB Powder also works well with other BB and/or CC Creams… it’s a good overall powder to use with foundation too.
