Presenting... the Happy Skin Sanrio Collection!

When I was a little girl, my mom would take me to Gift Gate in Shopesville. I’d buy Sanrio stuff — pencils, erasers, stationery, stickers… I loved all the Sanrio characters. My favorite was Little Twin Stars. There was just something magical about them, perched on the moon, the clouds, and the stars. I’m now in my 40’s but I will always have a soft spot for the Sanrio characters I grew up with. Given my love for all thing beauty, the newly launched Happy Skin Sanrio Collection is a dream come true.

I got the Happy Skin Sanrio Sponge Duo (₱499). Instead of one full-sized sponge, you get 2 cute mini sponges in purple and light blue. They’re so cute!

I got the Happy Skin Sanrio Moisturizing Matte Lippie in Berry Cute (₱699).

The box and the tube are so cute!

I also got the Happy Skin Sanrio Liquid Matte Lippie in Kitty Cat (₱699).

It’s redder and darker compared to Berry Cute.

I used to hate makeup removing wipes but ever since I discovered there are a few good ones, I’ve come to appreciate them. Oh I also got the Happy Skin Sanrio Express Gel Polish in Purr-fect (₱299).

I was quite excited to try out the Happy Skin Sanrio Make A Clean Sweep Micellar Makeup Wipes (₱249).

The wipes were able to remove the matte lipsticks I swatched very easily. I tried them on eyeliner, mascara, and eyebrow pencil + mascara and they worked just as well. I’m impressed.

Here’s Kitty Cat under natural light. It has a coral undertone. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know how I feel about coral lip color. This one doesn’t make my teeth look yellow though.
