We spent the weekend at Fontana Leisure Park in Pampanga a couple of weeks back. One of our friends had a membership which allowed us to avail of special discounted rates for accommodations and recreational facilities.
We got a Standard 3-Room Villa for around P5,500+. It’s something like 50% off the Fontana Leisure Park regular rate. We stayed there with some friends so it’s really good value if you’re splitting costs. The villa is a bungalow with 24/7 centralized air-conditioning. There’s only one TV and it’s located in the living room.
There’s a bar and kitchenette which comes equipped with a kitchen sink, a small refrigerator, and complimentary consumables like coffee, tea, and sweeteners. There’s actually a small room in the kitchen area with a single bunk bed and its own toilet (in addition to the 3 bedrooms) in case you brought along your driver or helper.
There are 3 bedrooms with queen-sized beds, closets, night tables, and complimentary bottles of water. One of the three is the master bedroom and has its own bathroom. The bed is not big enough for a family of four and can only accommodate 2 adults and one child tops.
The other 2 bedrooms share a larger bathroom with separate cubicles for the toilet and shower area. The bathrooms come with the usual toiletries like shampoo, liquid soap, shower caps, toothbrushes, cotton buds, etc. There are also complete sets of towels for 4 people and a wall-mounted hair dryer for added convenience.
There’s a dining table for six people in case you plan on having meals in the villa. There aren’t really any cooking facilities though, not even a microwave oven. You’ll have to order either room service or take home food from restaurants in the vicinity.
There’s a free playground that’s a stone’s throw away from the villas with slides, swings, seesaws, monkey bars, etc.
There is a hot springs area as well as a water park you can visit while staying at Fontana Leisure Park. You have to pay an entrance fee though. The water park costs P400 per person (50% off for members) but it’s worth it because there’s a wave pool, a giant slide, a lazy river, and lots of other fun activities for kids and adults. I was unable take photos because I didn’t want to bring my camera there (I can’t guard it while swimming so I just left it at the villa). In case anyone’s interested, there’s a casino too.
All in all, it was a fun weekend. The kids enjoyed and the accommodations are very reasonably priced (especially for members hahaha!). In case you’re wondering, there is no free internet access so get ready for some quality bonding time with the family. 🙂
