My 20th BB review was for Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion back in 2013. When I got this product a couple of weeks ago, I did a double take. Was it the same product?
Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion (P1,098)
It had the same name but the packaging was different and 2 years had passed since I reviewed the first one. I’m inclined to think this is a new improved version.
I got Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion in Natural Beige W13. There are 3 shades: N02 Light Beige, W13 Natural Beige, and W24 Honey Beige. I got the middle shade.
According to the product information sheet I got, this is a combination product — it’s a BB Cream, CC Cream, and a foundation all rolled into one. It comes with an applicator puff.
The cushion itself is sealed.
It looks like a sponge that’s drenched with liquid foundation. You press the applicator puff onto it and then pat onto your face. Pat, pat, pat to perfection is what the Korean makeup artist did when she demonstrated how to use this type of product in one of Etude House’s events.
This is what a pat looks like against my skin. It’s an exact match, I think.
Here are before and after application photos. I love the cooling sensation when I pat the product onto my face.
This is how it looks under natural light.
What I like about Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion:
- Like I mentioned above, I love the cooling sensation when I pat it on my face.
- It’s got SPF 50 PA+++, perfect for the summer!
- It whitens, moisturizes. and controls oil all at the same time.
- I can use it in place of BB / CC / Foundation.
- It immediately brightens my face and makes me look more radiant right after application.
- There are 3 shades to choose from.
Downside? The coverage is not as heavy as foundation (more on light to medium) so if you have a lot of flaws to cover, you will need to use concealer in addition to this.
