We didn’t really have anything planned for Easter Sunday so my daughter and I decided to check out Vanilla Cafe Cupcakes 2017. For P599, kids can participate in Vanilla Cafe’s cupcake decorating activity. Each child will be given a toque, an apron, a DIY cupcake kit, an a kiddie meal. We didn’t really fancy going to the usual easter egg hunting activities because it was so hot and being in a crowded place just wasn’t appealing.
Anyhow we went to Vanilla Cafe near ABS-CBN along Mother Ignacia. They had a separate function room out front for the cupcake-decorating activity.
Each kid would get a cupcake to decorate.
They can select one cupcake topper.
There was also prepared frosting in piping bags.
I love how the tables were set up. There were candy sprinkles in different shapes and colors for decorating the cupcakes.
My daughter tackled the task with much gusto. She chose not to wear the apron and toque though.
I volunteered to help her but she insisted on doing everything herself.
I had a light snack of Iced Coffee and Chocolate Caramel Cake while waiting for her to finish.
Tadaa! All done in 15 minutes.
She was pretty pleased with her cupcake.
She got a really yummy kiddie meal consisting of spaghetti and crunchy fried chicken for merienda afterwards. The meal also included a glass of cold dalandan juice.
We loved the cozy interiors and chill vibe of Vanilla Cafe. It’s a really great place for some mother-daughter bonding time with all the sweets and girly stuff. I was surprised that they had a wide selection of savory meals below P200. I just felt like having coffee and cake that afternoon though. We’ll definitely be back for some cupcakes and maybe to try more food items.
