A little over a week ago, I was invited to check out Burger King in Tiendesitas (it’s actually located near SM Hypermarket).
I’ve never been there because there are a couple of Burger King branches close to my house. I was however, impressed by the clean wood-themed interiors.
The air-conditioning is also something else! One of the things I hate about fast food joints is how hot it gets when the place fills up. Not a problem at this store, even as the event went into full swing later on with the place was packed with people, it was still pretty cold!
At the start of the event, it was hinted that a new Whopper variant was going to be introduced.
Fact: I personally love Burger King. When we get midnight snack cravings and decide to drive thru, my vote always goes to Burger King. For me they have the best Chicken Sandwich.
Burger King Rock It Fries (P59)
Have you tried Burger King’s Rock It Fries? This is a unique spin on the usual flavored fries with its 3-step seasoning method. It’s available in two flavors: Bacon Maple and Cajun BBQ Parmesan.
Step 1: Pour the powder onto the fries.
Step 2: Pour the syrup/sauce onto the fries.
Step 3: Cover and shake like there’s no tomorrow!
Voila! Meet my Bacon Maple Rock It Fries! Yummy!
Burger King also launched Tom Rodriguez of My Husband’s Lover fame as their latest celebrity endorser.
They gave us a sneak preview of their newest Whopper variant, the Angry Whopper! It’s got jalapenos and barbecue sauce and wow, I love it! See the grill marks on my patty? That’s what make Burger King burgers so special. They’re grilled to highlight the awesome beefy goodness. This will be available at all branches starting Sept. 17 for P169 ala carte and P199 as a Whopper Meal.
I got a quick photo with Tom (event if I had mistakenly identified another person as Tom at the start of the event LOL) before he whizzed off to his taping.
