Are you a skin care fanatic like me? If the answer is yes, I’ve got good news — French skincare brand Bioderma formally launched in the Philippines a little over a month ago. Being the skincare-obsessed creature that I am, I just HAD to check it out.
It was an intimate tea party of sorts at Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas.
It was an afternoon of yummy treats and more importantly…
…lots of chit-chat with lovely beauty blogger friends! Did you know that Bioderma is one of the most frequently prescribed brands by French dermatologists? Not surprising since Bioderma products are developed in close partnership with dermatologists. Bioderma has a full range of products that respond to all types of skin, even very sensitive skin.
I got to take home several Bioderma products to try and I opted to go for one of the beauty products I use the most first — makeup remover. I go through makeup removers like drinking water, lol. So I’m now reviewing Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution for sensitive skin. It’s a no-rinse water-like solution that cleanses skin and removes makeup.
It’s sealed for your protection.
I had to break off the seal to open the bottle.
I put some of the solution onto a cotton pad. It’s really like water.
I was wearing some waterproof eye makeup products — waterproof eyeliner and mascara to be exact.
Makeup comes off so quickly and easily with Bioderma Sensibio H2O!
Wow, I was so surprised at how quickly Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution was able to remove my eye makeup! It was like one swipe and all my eyeliner was gone! Really amazing!
What I like about Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution:
- It’s very efficient when it comes to makeup removal. Makeup comes off so easily that your whole face is clean in no time!
- It’s so water-like it leaves zero residue after use.
- It has no perfume, it’s almost scent-less.
- It’s economical because you don’t need to use a lot. It’s THAT potent.
- Skin feels very clean and neither oily nor dry after use.
- Doesn’t sting the eyes at all, not even a little. It’s really like water!
Downside? It’s kind of pricey at P1,300 for a 250ml bottle like the one I’m holding above. A smaller 100ml bottle will set you back P650. One bottle lasts a lot longer compared to other water-based makeup removers I’ve tried though so it’s worth it.
Bioderma products are available at select dermatological clinics, Watsons, and PCX stores.

Maganda po pala talaga ang bioderma, pricey nga po talaga kahit maliit na size, hindi po affordable but very high quality na alam kong hindi masakit sa mata pag nagtanggal ng make up 🙂
