Here are some little known facts about my skincare habits: I use Bioderma Sebium Global to promptly get rid of zits, in the event I get one… or two. Then I use Bioderma Cicabio Cream to immediately soothe and heal my skin when it gets um… injured. Like one time I had my brows threaded and ended up having a grazed forehead with chicken skin huhuhu… Bioderma Cicabio Cream was what restored my forehead to its original flawless state.
So anyway, last April 27 we headed to the Bioderma section at SM Beauty in SM Aura. Bioderma Philippines was officially launching the Bioderma Sebium line.
Although I didn’t find my favorite Bioderma Sebium Global there, I found something similar… Bioderma Sebium AKN…. I’ll tell you more about it in a bit.
These are the Bioderma Sebium products. There’s a 4th one, the Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel which I’ll discuss separately.
- Bioderma Sebium AKN (P1,038) – This is a smoothing and purifying treatment which prevents the appearance of mild to moderate blemishes. You know the feeling when a zit is about to erupt but hasn’t really surfaced yet? I would apply Bioderma Sebium Global to the area at that stage so I can prevent it from happening. Bioderma Sebium AKN has that function — preventing the appearance of mild to moderate blemishes so yes, I can definitely use this as a preventive measure when it comes to breakouts.
- Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner (P1,158) – Do you have large visible pores? If the answer is yes, this product is for you. This tightens dilated pores and improves skin texture. Your skin takes on a finer, clearer appearance with regular use.
- Bioderma Sebium H2O (P488 125ml / P888 250ml / P1,388 500ml) – This is a micellar water-based cleanser and makeup remover that gently purifies oily or combination skin.
We got to choose 3 more products aside from the 3 launch products I posted above.
I picked Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel (P1,088), Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel (P998), and the Bioderma Hydrabio Serum (P1,508).
Bioderma Sebium Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel (P1,088) is the 4th product I mentioned. It’s a soap-free cleanser for oily skin that’s very gentle. It already prevents blemishes from the cleansing stage.
Bioderma Sensibio Eye Contour Gel (P998) – This is a daily anti-puffiness eye treatment for those with sensitive skin. It moisturizes too so it’s ideal for daily use.
Bioderma Hydrabio Serum (P1,508) is a really heavy duty moisturizer for sensitive and dehydrated skin. My skin is none of those but you know how I’m so much into moisture as the no. 1 weapon against aging so I picked this. I’m excited because even if it provides intense moisture (that’s usually greasy and heavy), it promises a smooth extra-fresh texture for your skin.
I’m super excited to use these Bioderma products, will post individual reviews soon!
Bioderma is available at Watsons and SM Beauty in SM Aura, SM Makati, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM North EDSA, and SM Southmall. You can also purchase online at http://dmarkbeauty.com/.
