I brought home a tub of Chef Tony’s Yummy Magazine edition popcorn last week, much to the delight of my two kids.
The savory aroma of tomato and herbs wafted out as soon as I opened the tub. The big pieces of popcorn were calling out to us.
Each piece is generously coated with cheese, spices, and Chef Tony’s signature glaze. The taste is sweet and savory at the same time, and every single one is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. There’s no skimping on the ingredients. My little boy commented that it tastes like pizza.
This is only the first of four flavors that Chef Tony’s Gourmet Popcorn and Yummy Magazine will be collaborating on. It will retail for P200 per tub and will be available to the general public by June 2010. The Yummy team is currently working on the next three flavors. One thing’s certain — every single one will be… you guessed it — yummy! 😀
