Last Saturday afternoon, I drove through the rains to go to Geisha in Bonifacio High Street Central where the K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute launch was happening.
K-Palette has always been one of my favorite beauty brands so I was quite excited. I haven’t been excited about anything in a while (I attribute it to burnout) so it felt rather nice.
Each table had a chockfull of K-Palette and 0Kuma products we could play with and it helped me finally determine my correct 0kuma concealer shade. I believe it’s #3.
There were different Japanese-inspired activities for the day. I started out with my DIY Furoshiki Press Kit.
Furoshiki is the art of folding cloth so you can artfully wrap different things. It’s kinda like origami except well you use cloth. I actually have a furoshiki book I bought several years ago. I chose a rectangular piece of patterned cloth and then proceeded to wrap my press kit with it.
Hahaha, doesn’t quite look like cherry blossoms. I signed my Chinese name on it.
She also showed us how to use the K-Palette Mega Cute Double Eyelid products.
There are two variants. First is the K-Palette Mega Cute Eyelid Glue Type.
Then there’s the K-Palette Mega Cute Double Eyelid Tape Type. If you have monolids but don’t want to resort to surgery, these products are for you.
They also showed us the latest Japanese makeup trend. Check out the triangles draw on the outer edges of her eyelids using K-Palette eyeliner. Her blush is set pretty high up too, around the eye area to be exact.
Since I don’t have monolids, I had two super nice volunteers with whom I tried these products with… but I will share the results with you in my next post.
K-Palette Real Lasting Mega Cute Double Eyelid products are now available at all Beauty Bar stores for P695 per tube.
