During our staycation at Sofitel last weekend, I mentioned that we were upgraded to the Luxury Room Club Sofitel which gave us access to the exclusive lounge called Club Millesime (which was incidentally just a few steps away from our room).
Club Millesime is like a restaurant-lounge-bar-library. There are tables and chairs, couches, a refrigerator full of drinks for the taking, flatscreen TVs, all sorts of newspapers and magazines…
It’s really quite impressive.
There are two Macs with unlimited internet access you can play with too.
Club Millesime serves breakfast, high tea, and evening cocktails. The food consists of light fare served buffet-style. You can eat and drink all you can. Each Luxury Room Club Sofitel accomodation grants two adults and one child below 12 access to Club Millesime. You have to pay for additional guests.
You can order coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or even freshly squeezed orange juice at Club Millesime. My daughter would go to the refrigerator and grab a bottle of Evian, which she calls “rich water”, every time… lol.
We were just in time for high tea after we checked in last Saturday. There were cakes, tarts, and even kakanin (native Filipino pastries).
There was a small selection of chocolates too.
Yes, there were lots of pastries. I forgot to take photos of the savory sandwiches… also the cookies, nuts, and cheese. XD
At any Sofitel spread, there are always fresh fruits. I really loved the pineapples during our stay.
This is how my first plate looked like. I had freshly squeezed orange juice with it. Yummy! We had a really filling merienda at Club Millesime. During evenings, Club Millesime holds scheduled wine tastings accompanied by equally delicious cocktail fare. If you have lounge access, you won’t even need to go out to eat (for breakfast, high tea, and evening cocktails anyway) or grab a drink since refreshments are free-flowing from 10am to 10pm.
What an experience. 😀
