In this post, I will review not just one but two Bobbi Brown Long Wear make-up products… Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Galaxy and Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Liner in Jet.
First let’s take a look at the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Galaxy. It comes in a glass pot. I like how it’s all silvery and shimmery, perfect for all the upcoming holiday parties!
For applying you may use a brush or your fingers. I recommend using a spatula and transferring the product onto a palette for the purposes of hygiene.
It’s surprisingly easy to apply to because it glides on your lids. It’s also buildable and very blendable. You can make it as dark or as light as you want, depending on the look you want to achieve. I concentrated the product on the lids and blended upwards for a smoky but natural look.
What I like about Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow:
- It’s easy to apply and blend.
- There’s no fall-off like powder eye shadow.
- It’s very forgiving since you can blend away any mistakes you might have made during application.
- If you choose a versatile shade like Galaxy, you can use a single shade to create your eye make-up look.
- It stays put and lasts even if you party all night long.
- One pot lasts a really long time.
The only downside is getting messy fingers should you decide not to use a brush. Also, you will need to moisturize the eye area for best results.
To complement the shadow there’s the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Pencil in Jet.
Wow, I am totally amazed by this pencil. It’s so highly pigmented that you’d think it was a black permanent marker instead of a pencil. It goes on so smoothly too — no tugging at all!
What I like about Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Liner:
- The pigmentation is incredible. I can’t believe it’s a pencil! Just look at my swatch in the photo above. It looks like it was made by a permanent marker.
- It glides on your eyelids — no pulling or tugging!
The Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow and Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Liner cost P1,450 each and are available at all Bobbi Brown counters (Rustans Makati, Rustans Shangri-la, and Essences at Power Plant Mall).
