Anyone who has had her hair rebonded or straightened chemically knows that the real test comes after you actually wash your hair. You will almost always be instructed not to shampoo for at least 2 days after the procedure so the style will lock in.
Now a lot of people were impressed by the results I got from Shuji Kida Hair Salon’s Japanese Magnetic Hair Straightening service some two weeks ago. The question is, what was it going to be like after I’ve actually shampooed my hair? At home, I don’t have anyone to blow dry it perfectly for me like in the salon.
Anyways, check out the photos above. That is how it looks like post-shampoo. I used the cold air setting on my hair dryer to dry it using my fingers without any special brushes. Still pretty nice, soft, and natural-looking I must say, still a very far cry from the other rebonding techniques I’ve tried. It’s on the pricey side, yes, but so are the straightening services from other salons I inquired at! Everyone quoted me more or less the same price range for my thick and coarse hair.
I love Shuji Kida Hair Salon!
